Lived Experience Advisory Forum

Lived Experience
Advisory Forum

LEAF stands for Lived Experience Advisory Forum, this is the part of the beans service where we will hold a safe space to get together for neurodivergent children and young people to share their views and experiences.

LEAF gives CYP and their families to help co-produce our services and feedback around what we do so that we can deliver something even better in the future.

The meetings will take place once a month at the following dates & locations:

Bury St Edmunds (Linden House): 3rd Tuesday of Every Month, 12:00pm – 13:00pm.

Saxmundham (Sax’cess House): 4th Tuesday of Every Month, 12:00pm – 13:00pm.

Woodbridge (Pavilion Cafe): 2nd Tuesday of Every Month, 12:00pm – 13:00pm.

We will use the information gathered to create positive changes in the services we provide you.

We want your voice at the heart of Beans.

  • You’ll have the chance to co-produce new projects.
  • You’ll meet other people with similar lived experience.
  • The sessions will be facilitated by a friendly member of our team.

Using Lived Experience to Shape our Service

Here’s a quick look at what a LEAF session looks like, and how we can go from learning about lived experience to creating a whole new project.

Learn More About Access

The LEAF project also exists outside of beans, with drop-in wellbeing and mental health groups held monthly across Beccles, Bungay and Lowestoft.

It’s all part of the larger picture, working as a part of Access Community Trust.

The regional charity operate from Bury St Edmunds to Lowestoft and From King’s Lynn To Ipswich.
